I can remember the tenseness between competitors as they squared off against each other. I can remember the crowd bellowing in the background. And I can recall the visible elation by Team Europe when I called the last point – the ensuing crowd uproar totally drowning my end-of-match announcements. *The award winning photo of Team Europe erupting, does it for me every time.* As an International Umpire who, due to circumstances, does not get many opportunities to witness high-powered Table Tennis first hand, the WCC & JCF was indeed a treat and a joy to be part off.
