Regarding the next YOGames-2014, my paramount concern is an absolute impossibility for the player’s ‘birth certificate’ to be verified by any reliable means. [div]So, we can never be well satisfied if those yongsters to take part in the next YOG events will really meet all the age restrictictions imposed. [div]Seeing that supreme national interests are now concerned, some well-designed manipulations with the personal bio-datum may well occur. As an unworthy example, a Gross Unfairness with the ‘birth certificates’ and with other personal bio-papers is now found to be quite a common practice in femail gymnastics, even for the top-leading Olympic teams.

Hi, Mik \\We, the game experts of Europe, should work out an innovative playing tactics to disable the Chinese’s attacking zeal as much as possible. Certainly, the Euro players can never get level with the Asians in physical conditions, hitting power and motion speed neither, so we have to employ the BRAIN power still better. \\I am an adamant believer that the Best Winning Tactics (BWT) should incorporate both the Play SIDEWAYS (PS) overwhelming, and a good number of occasional ball DAMPING Blocks (DB). \\We are glad to further disscuss all the Tactics questions if you like. \\Igor.

Glenn, your article about “balance” between hard work and fun for our cadets/children with reference to Team Europes bonding and their head coaches methodology is something I sicerely hope many coaches, here in Oceania can take on board as we strive to close the gap at the bottom of the development ladder. Does this mean that players born in 96 and 97 will not be able to play in the 2014 Youth Games either? I hope this is not true. This would mean that players born in the “correct” two years will be eligible but the others will never be allowed to qualify.
