Glenn Tepper
Glenn Tepper started table tennis in the small Australian country town of Murtoa, where his teen year weekends consisted of a 4 hour car or train trip to Melbourne for training and competition.
The oldest of 4 children, all of whom played for Australia, Glenn represented Australia from 1982-1991 including 2 years in Sweden Division 1, 3 World Championships, and 4 Asian Championships. Highest ranking included No2 in Oceania, No 8 in the Commonwealth, No 160 in the World.
With a Bachelor of Physical Education and a Graduate Diploma of Sports Coaching, 10 years of teaching Physical Education were followed by positions of Tahiti National Coach, Australian Men’s Team Coach, Australian National Coaching Director, Oceania Development Officer, ITTF Development Manager and now ITTF Director of Development Programmes responsible for over 100 courses worldwide annually and equipment assistance to over 30 countries.
